Welcome to Humble Tees LA! I’m Brianna Keaton, a Los Angeles native and founder of this beautiful company!

I created this brand in 2016, 1- year after I lost one of my siblings to gun violence. I was shaken and forever changed by the tragedy and so needed a visual outlet that would help me course through this nightmare of grief and sadness. How do you spread love and kindness, even when you are sad? That was the question I asked myself daily. I did not want to go through the pain alone, and I just know that there is someone out here in the world who has experienced the same feelings of loss but with the fear of getting too lost in it. I decided to take a bit of faith, the outpour of encouraging quotes, scriptures, words of wisdom, and advice, and put them on t-shirts. Why? Everyone loves t-shirts, and almost everyone has a favorite tee. Little did I know, that building Humble Tees LA would be the start of building my brand and ushering in the journey of my healing through entrepreneurship. I made it my mission to make sure we bring the world of positivity and comfort together in the essentials we wear daily.

I’m looking forward to continuously spreading positive messages to you in hopes that they encourage and inspire you to walk in your God-given purpose daily.

Comfortable With a Purpose

Normally when we go through life we tend to lean in and listen to the advice of our friends, family, and inspirations, to keep us motivated. Then there are times where sometimes you feel completely alone and don’t know where to turn. It is suggested that the average human experiences 400 emotions per day. Meaning, that depending on how we manage those emotions, we may sometimes fall short in behavior. Trial and error. But, the beauty of it is, that by seeking repentance from God and asking for his direction, you will learn to know in your heart that He provides grace and mercy, along with forgiveness each moment you are alive. Learn to forgive yourself and others, because emotions are always temporary.

We’re giving you all of the encouragement and wisdom on the most comfortable apparel so that you purposely represent what that means for you. When you put on our clothing you are now an ambassador for the wisdom displayed. It will remind you to stay aware. Are you living up to the standard when you have an experience? Humility is hard but when practiced correctly and consistently, you open your world to so much beauty. Life is precious, and so are you. Stay humble. Stay encouraged. Stay purposeful.
